About the Role

We are looking for a Social Media & Creator Partnerships Manager to build and engage a community of beauty lovers and drive awareness, buzz, and hype about IPSY in Mexico. You will work closely with the global marketing, social, and creator partnerships team and collaborate with the local Mexico team to develop and execute the brand’s go-to-market strategy.  You will play an integral role in shaping a rich, multi-faceted content and platform strategy, with the goal of building the local community and amplifying the brand through digital content creators. As a left and right brain thinker, you are a results-oriented self-starter that's on the pulse of emerging trends and capabilities in the social stratosphere—and has a natural curiosity for what drives member delight and engagement.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build and execute social media and creators strategy designed to improve the full marketing funnel (increasing brand awareness, engagement, consideration, and conversion) for all social media activations
  • Ideate, pitch and execute unique, engaging social media activations to develop innovative custom content that breaks through the social clutter
  • Develop and oversee a monthly programming calendar that caters to the local audience and ladders up to the goals of the business
  • Monitor and engage in brand-related conversations with the IPSY community across all social media platforms, on our channels, and across a network of local creators
  • Monitor social media groups, trends, tools, new applications, SEO, and user engagement to be able to suggest content optimization across video and photo content
  • Manage monthly programming and budget for creator partnerships, product gifting and experiential activations
  • Create a social dashboard with regular reporting metrics and insights to inform content and posting strategy
  • Identify talent, build relationships, and negotiate partnerships with leading beauty influencers to grow IPSY’s awareness in LATAM
  • Work closely with creators to ensure the timely fulfillment and adherence to creative briefs for IPSY brand partner requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • English and Spanish fluency
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required
  • 5-6 years of concentrated experience in social media, preferably 2-3 years within the beauty or lifestyle industries
  • Extensive knowledge of the influencer community, especially within beauty, in Mexico and the US
  • Strong track record of developing and optimizing engaging content and building a high-growth social following across multiple platforms
  • Highly organized with impeccable attention to detail
  • Creative thinker who can problem solve
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to self-direct. Receives mentorship and direction from senior level management and provides a positive influence on other team members. Effectively delegates work, when appropriate
  • Experience managing significant digital talent/creators and exceptional understanding of how to work with them
  • Fervent attention to detail 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a talent for storytelling 
  • Strong ability with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Google Docs
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred 

Bonus if You Have

  • Experience with subscription and/or digitally native brands 
  • Experience supporting a US-based brand in LATAM
  • A ‘big picture’ perspective, yet willing to ‘roll up the sleeves’ and do whatever it takes to get the job done
