About the Role:

Equipment Maintenance Technician for day shift will report directly to the Facilities Manager and assist in the oversight of maintenance activities on day shift. This position will be responsible for addressing emergency maintenance issues throughout all workstreams of operations, with the goal of achieving scheduled daily production levels. This position will also be responsible for maintaining on-time completion of assigned PMs, along with general WO requests including repairs, modifications, and fabrication projects. Must be able to cover any shift and work weekends as needed.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Performance of all maintenance and repairs at the property, as assigned
  • Complete work orders efficiently and courteously
  • Inspect buildings regularly, including roofs and common areas
  • Ensure that job assignments and work orders are carried out promptly, efficiently, courteously, and in accordance with established procedures
  • Maintain the shop and storage areas in a clean, orderly, safe, and secure fashion

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skill to work with minimal supervision within established procedures
  • Knowledge of industrial control wiring systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Repairs and maintains (in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications) machinery and mechanical equipment, such as production machines, conveyor systems, and equipment
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance with exposure to machinery, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • The ability to read, understand, and comprehend written or oral instruction, technical data, blueprints, etc., and the ability to communicate effectively with others
  • Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift, boom lift, and obtain annual certifications
